The CKHS Building is a state of the art sports facility located at the University of Regina. The facility was completed in 2004 and was the focal point of the 2005 Jeux de Canada Summer Games. The building includes three full-size basketball/volleyball courts, collapsible seating for 2200 people, an elevated running track, sports medicine facilities and underground parking for 200 cars. The building is located adjacent to the existing Education and Aquatics Buildings. The building structure includes a steel truss roof system spanning 50 m. Particular attention was paid to reducing floor vibrations and to achieving very flat floor surfaces.
